Out of the 15 listed companies in the PSI, five rose, six fell, and Galp, Ibersol, Jerónimo Martins, and REN remained unchanged at 15.78, 10.20, 21.56, and 3.01 euros, respectively.
Leading the gains, BCP increased by 3.50% to 0.70 euros.
Significant increases also included EDP Renováveis, which rose by 2.95% to 9.78 euros, and CTT, which appreciated by 1.38% to 7.36 euros.
EDP (3.64 euros) and Mota-Engil (4.08 euros) recorded increases below 1%.
On the downside, Altri led the declines, dropping 0.98% to 5.07 euros.
Other decreases of less than 1% included Corticeira Amorim (7.78 euros), Navigator (3.30 euros), Sonae SGPS (1.19 euros), NOS (3.82 euros), and Semapa (16.28 euros).
In the rest of Europe, Madrid increased by 1.14%, Frankfurt by 0.78%, Paris by 0.75%, and London by 0.28%.
