
Out of the 15 companies listed on the PSI, five saw their shares rise, nine fell, and NOS remained unchanged at 3.61 euros.
Jerónimo Martins led the gains, climbing 5.81% to reach 22.58 euros.
Following was Corticeira Amorim, which increased by 2.36% to 7.80 euros.
Other companies with gains below 1% included BCP at 0.60 euros, EDP Renováveis at 8.10 euros, and Galp at 13.74 euros.
Conversely, EDP led the declines, falling 3.27% to 3.19 euros.
Other significant losses included REN, which decreased by 2.58% to 2.84 euros, Semapa down 1.59% to 17.22 euros, Ibersol which dropped 1.50% to 9.22 euros, and Sonae SGPS which depreciated by 1.39% to 1.13 euros.
After the market closed, REN — Redes Energéticas Nacionais announced first-quarter profits of 14.4 million euros, an increase of 10.7 million euros compared to the same period last year, reflecting improved financial results and positive tax effects.
Companies with losses under 1% included CTT at 7.72 euros, Mota-Engil at 3.91 euros, Altri at 6.16 euros, and Navigator at 3.36 euros.
CTT also reported its first-quarter results, noting a 25.9% drop in profits to 5.5 million euros.
Elsewhere in Europe, Frankfurt advanced by 1.02%, Paris rose by 0.89%, and Madrid edged up by 0.06%, while London declined by 0.32%.
