
On Wednesday, the Lisbon stock exchange closed at its highest level since June 2014, defying the negative trend observed in major European counterparts, with Mota-Engil surging over 4%.
The benchmark index PSI gained 0.19% to reach 7,021.62 points, with nine out of the 15 listed companies closing in positive territory, five in negative, and one, Jerónimo Martins, remaining unchanged.
