
The PSI index, comprising 15 listed companies, saw 11 of its members fall while four rose, enabling the Portuguese benchmark index to land in positive territory.
Leading the gains was EDP Renováveis, which surged by 5.1% to 8.15 euros, followed closely by its parent company EDP, advancing 5.09% to 3.30 euros.
Elsewhere in Europe, the market in Frankfurt dropped by 3.08% and Paris by 3.31%, while London retreated by 1.55% and Madrid declined by 1.19%.
