A driver sustained minor injuries on Saturday afternoon after veering off the road on Avenida Marginal in the Paço de Arcos area and crashing into a pole. The man declined hospital transport.
The information was confirmed by the Paço de Arcos Volunteer Firefighters, who reported that the struck pole eventually fell on top of a house.
The residents were inside the house, but there was no danger to them, as only a tile was broken.
The accident, which occurred shortly after 4 p.m., led to traffic disruptions in the area. According to the source, traffic is “completely blocked” in the Lisboa-Cascais direction in that area.
