Francisco Louçã demonstrated on Tuesday that he is not yet in need of a political “crutch,” as allegedly mentioned by a deputy from the Chega party, led by André Ventura.
On Instagram, the member of the Bloco de Esquerda, who has returned to active politics to lead the Left Bloc’s electoral list for the Braga constituency in the elections on May 18, shared a photo of himself doing a “5,000-meter high free jump.”
“The Chega deputy says I campaign with a crutch. That day will come, but not now. In the photo, a free jump of five thousand meters, here as I was already approaching the ground and, with the monitor, opened the parachute. Here’s a warning to the Chega folks: look up, that’s where I’ll be,” remarked the co-founder of the BE.
The post, shared about an hour ago, has already garnered nearly a thousand likes and dozens of comments from people supporting Francisco Louçã, who returned to active political life after a decade away.
It should be noted that the party’s veterans, Luís Fazenda and Fernando Rosas, have also returned for these elections, with the aim of helping the party achieve better results than in the last legislative elections.
