Since November 17, the GNR has recorded multiple complaints in the municipalities of Macedo de Cavaleiros (10) and Bragança (one). As of Monday, 10 homes have been burglarized, and one faced an attempted burglary.
Major and public relations officer of the GNR in Bragança, Hernâni Martins, disclosed that the burglary occurred in the village of Brinço, but the damages remain unclear as the homeowner resides outside the district.
The attempted burglary, according to the same source, took place in Sezulfe, resulting in damage to two external doors of the house.
The crimes occurred in residences that are not permanently occupied, belonging to individuals living in other parts of the country or even abroad.
The Territorial Command of Bragança is investigating whether the thefts are related.
