ANA – Aeroportos Portugal announced today that a new flight connection will enhance the airline’s presence in Portugal, responding to the increased interest from French travelers in the Madeira Autonomous Region.
The new weekly flight operates on Sundays, marking an additional step in expanding the region’s air connectivity. During the inaugural flight last Sunday, passengers were greeted with flowers and regional products upon their arrival in Madeira.
Commercial Director of ANA, Karen Stougo, noted that this is the first time this French destination has direct flights to the archipelago, operated by Transavia. She emphasized the airline’s increasingly significant role in the growth of the French market for Madeira.
