According to the State Budget report for 2026, the year 2025 included a sum of 279.8 million euros for Madeira under the Regional Finance Law, with a projection of 294.3 million euros for 2026, marking an increase of 5.2%.
The OE2026 proposal, submitted today, specifies that Madeira will receive 214,362,360 euros under article 48 of the Regional Finance Law (budgetary transfers) and 79,930,558 euros as part of article 49 (cohesion fund for outermost regions), “on an exceptional basis”.
