The National Republican Guard (GNR) announced the arrest of a 46-year-old man on September 17, following an investigation that determined he physically, verbally, and psychologically abused his 37-year-old wife.
After appearing at the Penal Court of Penafiel, the suspect was remanded in custody as a preventive measure.
