
A man was transported to Beja hospital following an incident, as reported by a GNR source, noting that the assailant was not located and the case investigation has been handed over to the Judicial Police.
According to the Baixo Alentejo Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command, the victim of the assault, which occurred in Montes Velhos, in the Beja district, suffered head injuries.
The alert for this incident was issued at 1:50 PM, according to the sub-regional command.
Twelve operatives from the Aljustrel firefighters, the National Medical Emergency Institute, and the GNR were mobilized to the scene, supported by six vehicles, including the medical emergency and resuscitation vehicle (VMER) from Beja.
