A 56-year-old man died on Monday after being struck by an electrical pole that was being unloaded in Arnóia, in the municipality of Celorico de Bastos.
The Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR) from the Braga Territorial Command reported that the victim was working at the time and was hit while removing the pole from a vehicle.
At the scene were the Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR), the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), the Celorico de Basto Firefighters, and the Authority for Working Conditions.
