A victim was transported to the Hospital do Litoral Alentejano in Santiago do Cacém, according to reports.
The assailant, involved in the altercation with the neighbor, is a 78-year-old man who was detained and subsequently released. He was notified to appear in Grândola Court on Monday, as stated by the GNR source.
A source from the Sub-Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of the Alentejo Coast indicated that the alert for this incident on Rua do Olival do Serradinho was issued at 15:17.
The man was allegedly struck on the head with a hoe, it was added.
Seven operatives from the Alcácer do Sal firefighters, the National Institute of Medical Emergency, and the GNR were mobilized to the scene. They were supported by three vehicles, including an Immediate Life Support (SIV) ambulance from Alcácer do Sal.
