A man was stabbed in the face early Saturday morning in the Santos area of Lisbon. Two women were arrested for assaulting officers from the Public Security Police (PSP) who responded to the scene.
The incident occurred around 6:20 a.m. on Rua Cintura do Porto de Lisboa, a location known for its night entertainment venues, and was confirmed by local police. The victim was transported in serious condition to São José Hospital.
Following the incident, one woman was arrested “for assaulting the PSP officers who arrived to resolve the situation.”
Another woman, related to the first, was similarly detained after assaulting a PSP officer who was also handling the incident.
The details have been reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
