Independent workers in Portugal are reminded to submit their quarterly tax declaration by the end of April. This applies to those who work under the “recibos verdes” system.
“Independent Workers have until April 30 to submit the Mandatory Quarterly Declaration through Segurança Social Direta”, the Instituto da Segurança Social (ISS) noted in a post on Facebook.
In this declaration, the ISS explains, “report the income received in January, February, and March, which will be used to calculate contributions for April, May, and June“.
