
The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, are set to converge in Stuttgart and Munich, Germany, to mark Portugal Day with Portuguese immigrant communities.
“Continuing a tradition since 2016, the President of the Republic will travel tomorrow [Saturday], June 7, accompanied by the Prime Minister, to Stuttgart and, on June 8, to Munich, Germany, to celebrate Portugal Day, Camões, and Portuguese Communities Day with our compatriots in that region,” states a message published today on the official website of the Presidency of the Republic on the Internet.
According to the same announcement, the President and the head of the new PSD/CDS-PP government, inaugurated on Wednesday, will also attend the Nations League final between Portugal and Spain, scheduled for Sunday at 20:00 in Munich.
