Mariza is set to perform on the 20th, followed by Dillaz on the 21st, Gabriel “O Pensador” on the 22nd, Fernando Daniel on the 23rd, and The Gift on the 24th, with special participation from Coral and the project Amália Hoje.
Musical entertainment will also feature performances from DJs, bands, orchestras, and philharmonic groups from the local area.
The event will include food stalls, an exhibition of economic activities showcasing local businesses, entertainment rides, the XXIV Alcobaça Equestrian event, the 31st São Bernardo Cycling Circuit, and automotive displays.
The program also includes the “Marcas de Alcobaça” exhibition, featuring ceramics, cutlery, and agro-food sectors, along with displays of agricultural machinery and animals, live show cooking sessions, a museum exhibition, and live and displayed crafts.
The event takes place in celebration of the municipal holiday on August 20, the Day of São Bernardo, the representative of the Cistercian Order and a spiritual and historical pillar of Alcobaça’s identity and the century-old Feira de São Bernardo.
The festival offers free entry and is organized by the Alcobaça Municipal Council.
The Feira de São Bernardo has been held for eight centuries in honor of Alcobaça’s patron saint and prominent figure of the Cistercian Order, Saint Bernard of Clairvaux.
The Cistercian monks introduced various agricultural, culinary, and industrial techniques that remain the foundation of the local economy to this day.
Since 2022, the fair has returned to the city center, spanning from Rossio to Cova da Onça.
