Matias Damásio and Tony Carreira perform at the Tábua Trade Fair

“A FACIT encompasses two major aspects, maintaining the model of combining a large economic showcase, with about 90 companies and a total of 130 stands, with an entertainment program for all audiences,” stated the municipal president.

The event, held at the Multi-use Pavilion in Tábua, is asserted by Ricardo Cruz as “a flagship event of the region, increasingly consolidating its area within the municipality.”

The mayor indicated that the venue has undergone “many modifications” compared to the 2024 edition, notably with the expansion of the performance area to accommodate 12,000 people simultaneously.

The municipality also revamped the dining and gastronomy exhibition area, which is energized by local community councils and associations, along with an “increased concern” to expand parking facilities.

In this edition, the mayor of Tábua expects to record the largest turnout ever for the event, which in 2024 saw around 30,000 visitors despite adverse weather conditions on two of the days.

Singer Tony Carreira will perform on Saturday, June 28, preceded by Matias Damásio on June 27, which are anticipated to be the days with the highest attendance.

The program further highlights the participation of DJ Father Guilherme on June 27, a native of Guimarães, on a night that begins with a performance by Portuguese singer Syro.

FACIT will be inaugurated on June 25, with the presence of the Secretary of State for Forests, Rui Ladeira.
