A lottery ticket holder overseas secured the top prize—a ‘mega’ jackpot of 250 million euros—in the Euromillions draw 025/2025 on Friday, March 28.
In Portugal, a lucky winner was among nine players who won the second prize worth 338,645.83 euros.
Additionally, two individuals in Portugal were successful in matching five numbers, earning them the third prize of 18,585.69 euros.
It should be noted that in Portugal, prizes exceeding 5,000 euros are subject to a stamp duty tax at the legal rate of 20%, as stipulated by current regulations.
On Friday night, technical problems caused delays in making the Euromillions prize list available.
The jackpot in play is a record-setting 243 million euros.
