The metro service on the red line in Matosinhos resumed at 6:25 PM after a woman who was trapped under a train was removed, according to a company source.
Service had been disrupted between Senhora da Hora and Francos stations since 5:35 PM due to the accident, which resulted in serious injuries to a 30-year-old woman, as reported by the company source.
The woman, who was conscious, was transported to Hospital Pedro Hispano in Matosinhos with injuries to her arm, leg, and head, the source stated.
