Designed for all ages, the game ‘À Descoberta de Miguel Torga’ will allow participants to become pawns on a large-scale board, interacting with giant cards and dice.
Throughout the journey, players face challenges and uncover episodes from the life and work of Miguel Torga, exploring his connection to the land, writing, and the human condition, the Coimbra City Council announced in a statement sent to Lusa agency today.
“With a playful and educational approach, the initiative aims to bring the younger audience closer to the Torga universe, promoting a love for literature and knowledge of Portuguese cultural heritage in an innovative way,” it added.
The game will be available on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The activity, an original proposal integrated into the ‘Coimbra a Brincar’ initiative, is free but requires prior registration.
