Benfica, FC Porto, and Sporting have expressed solidarity with the victims of the accident at the Elevador da Glória in Lisbon, which resulted in 15 deaths and 18 injuries.
“Sporting shows its solidarity with all the victims of the tragedy at Elevador da Glória, in Lisbon. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and all affected by this tragedy,” read a message on the social network X from the ‘lions’.

“FC Porto expresses profound sadness over the tragic accident in Lisbon involving the Elevador da Glória. In this moment of grief and sorrow, we send a message of solidarity and comfort to the family and friends of all the victims of this tragedy,” wrote the ‘dragons’ on the social network X.
