Montenegro and Carneiro with a busy schedule (in the Porto district and islands)

On the fifth official day of campaigning for the local elections, the Prime Minister, representing the Social Democrats, began the day late morning in Nazaré, in the district of Leiria. He then proceeded to the municipalities of Valongo, Paços de Ferreira, and Lousada, concluding with a dinner in Gondomar.

The Secretary-General of the PS commenced his tour of the autonomous regions with a breakfast in Santa Cruz, accompanied by socialist candidates for the municipal councils of Madeira, followed by a rally in Machico.

José Luís Carneiro arrived on the island of São Miguel, in the Azores, mid-afternoon, engaging in activities in the parish of Água de Pau, Lagoa municipality, and ending the day with a dinner rally in Vila Franca do Campo.

The Secretary-General of the PCP, Paulo Raimundo, spent his campaign day between the Algarve and Alentejo, starting in Faro and then moving to two Alentejo municipalities that are key electoral targets for the CDU: Moura and Serpa.

Chega leader André Ventura was in the district of Faro, where his party had the highest vote percentage in the last legislative elections. André Ventura visited the Municipal Market of Caliços in Albufeira in the morning and traveled to Faro mid-afternoon.

Rui Tavares, spokesperson for Livre, began the morning in Alcântara alongside Alexandra Leitão, a socialist leading the PS/Livre/BE/PAN coalition for the Lisbon City Council. In the afternoon, he was in Aveiro and Santa Maria da Feira.

The president of Iniciativa Liberal, Mariana Leitão, started her day at 07:50 in Seixal with a boat trip via Transtejo to Lisbon, where she participated late morning in a street action between Campo Pequeno and Saldanha with the PSD/CDS-PP/IL coalition led by Carlos Moedas.

The president of the CDS participated in a dinner rally in Covilhã, in the district of Castelo Branco.

Marisa Matias, a leader of the Bloco de Esquerda who is substituting for her party’s coordinator Mariana Mortágua in the campaign, conducted activities in Condeixa-a-Nova, Aveiro, and Coimbra.
