Montenegro and Melo campaigning in the North. Remaining leaders in the Center and South

The Social Democratic leader and Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, has a busy agenda with five campaign initiatives, beginning the day in the district of Vila Real, engaging with the public in the municipalities of Chaves and Vila Pouca de Aguiar.

Subsequently, the Social Democratic delegation heads to the coast for a lunch in Porto, followed by another public engagement in Guimarães and concluding with a rally at São Mamede CAE. Luís Montenegro ends the campaign day with a dinner in Mafra, district of Lisbon.

CDS-PP leader, a preferred partner of the PSD in local government coalitions, also campaigns in the north with four events in municipalities where the centrists have their own lists: a visit to the Viseu Municipal Market, participation in the City Festivals in Vieira do Minho, a rally in Vila Verde, and a dinner in Albergaria-a-Velha, led by the centrists.

The Secretary-General of the PS, returning from a day between the Azores and Madeira, plans an itinerary between the West and Ribatejo, with an evening rally in Lourinhã at the Nadroupe Association and a dinner rally in Santarém at CNEMA – the National Center for Agricultural Exhibitions and Markets.

PCP leader Paulo Raimundo embarks on a packed schedule starting in Setúbal district, with a campaign event in Sines, followed by lunch in Grândola. In the afternoon, he participates in a FENPROF demonstration and a CDU rally in Lisbon, closing the day with a dinner rally in Vila Franca de Xira.

In the Algarve, Chega president André Ventura visits the Olhão Market in the morning and proceeds to Alentejo in the afternoon, attending the Southern Heritage Fair in Beja.

IL leader Mariana Leitão will also be in the Algarve region, participating in a walk in Faro supporting the coalition that includes the Liberals with PSD, CDS, PAN, and MPT, concluding with a dinner rally in Almada.

Rui Tavares, spokesperson for Livre, plans to begin his day in Lisbon at the Loures Market, with the afternoon reserved for presenting the party’s candidacy in Faro and a walk in Loulé.

Marisa Matias, representing the Left Bloc in place of the party’s coordinator Mariana Mortágua, will conduct campaign activities in the morning in Lisbon and Loures with Socialist Alexandra Leitão, Livre leaders Rui Tavares and Isabel Mendes Lopes, ending the day in Porto.

PAN leader Inês de Sousa Real focuses on the north, connecting with the public between Matosinhos (Senhora da Hora and Custóias fairs) and Gondomar (Moinhos de Jancido). Sousa Real has also scheduled two ‘Cãominhadas’ in Porto: one in the morning from Campanhã and another in the afternoon in Gramido.
