
The leader of the PSD and Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, begins his ninth day of the municipal campaign in Castelo Branco with a luncheon, followed by voter engagement activities in Tomar.
Montenegro’s day concludes with a rally dinner in the Santarém district at the CNEMA – National Center for Exhibitions and Agricultural Markets. He will be joined by CDS-PP leader Nuno Melo, a coalition partner of the Social Democrats in the municipality.
Earlier, Nuno Melo will be at the Feira da Vigia in the municipality of Vagos, Aveiro, where he will also have lunch before proceeding to a campaign activity in Oliveira do Bairro.
PS leader José Luís Carneiro has a morning schedule with a campaign at 10:30 in the health center of Condeixa-a-Nova, Coimbra district, and then a lunch in Montemor-o-Velho. In the late afternoon, he has a campaign event scheduled for Largo da Portagem in downtown Coimbra and ends the day in Bragança.
PCP Secretary-General Paulo Raimundo leads the CDU caravan in the Alentejo, with a morning public engagement in Beja and another in Aljustrel in the afternoon. The day ends with a dinner rally at the Santiago do Cacém Exhibition Park.
Chega leader André Ventura starts his day in Guarda with a campaign in the municipality of Sabugal, followed by a noon event in Mangualde, Viseu district. He has a late afternoon schedule in Vale de Cambra and concludes his day in Aveiro.
IL President Mariana Leitão has only one scheduled event, in the late afternoon, participating in a street action in Porto for the coalition led by Pedro Duarte (PSD/CDS/IL).
Rui Tavares, co-spokesperson for Livre, has a full agenda starting at 09:30 with a campaign in Oeiras, joined by Bloco de Esquerda coordinator Mariana Mortágua.
The Livre entourage will continue with street activities in Lisbon’s Alvalade, Areeiro, and Alameda neighborhoods. Rui Tavares will then visit the Rio Maior saltworks in the early afternoon and finish the day in Coimbra with a visit to the central delegation of the International Medical Assistance (AMI) and a street event in the downtown area.
Mariana Mortágua, who joined the Bloc’s campaign this Tuesday, will have a street event near the Amadora train station in the afternoon and close the day with a rally party in Almada, accompanied by Livre deputy Paulo Muacho.
Inês de Sousa Real, spokesperson for PAN, begins her day in Figueira da Foz with a visit to the animal protection association Apaff, followed by a visit to the Casa association, which supports the homeless, in Coimbra. The afternoon is reserved for a street campaign and a rally in Coimbra to support the coalition led by socialist Ana Abrunhosa.
