The president of the PSD, Luís Montenegro, asked today for “an uncomplicated vision” in the Health sector, “where ideology has no preponderance”, during a visit to the Algarve Hospital and University Center (CHUA), in Faro.

“Until we overcome these complexes as a country, we will not be able to have public health that can take advantage of the installed capacity and human resources of the three sectors [public, social, and private],” defended the leader of the largest opposition party.

At the end of a visit to Faro hospital, one of the main units of the CHUA, and in the second of four days of initiatives dedicated to the sector, Luís Montenegro again defended “an understanding between sectors” and the “complementarity” between public, social and private sectors.
