
Prime Minister Luís Montenegro strongly condemned an attack on a Public Security Police (PSP) officer at the Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA) in Martim Moniz on Tuesday.
“I vehemently condemn the attack against a PSP officer at AIMA in Martim Moniz today,” Montenegro, who is also the president of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), stated in a social media post.
Montenegro asserted that “the authority and safety of our police officers must never be compromised.”
“I wish the injured officer a swift and full recovery and express my full support for our Public Security Police,” he concluded.
