
The Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, visited the Navy’s Operational Experimentation Center (CEOM) in Troia on Wednesday.
During his visit, the head of the government attended a presentation and explored an exhibition featuring equipment from the Navy, industry, and academia, emphasizing a strategic innovation triangle, the organization detailed in a statement.
The innovations showcased aimed at advancing technology, interoperability, and the operation of unmanned systems in a multi-domain environment.
Montenegro also took the opportunity to witness a demonstration of the capabilities of some of these unmanned systems at the conclusion of the exhibition.
The event was also attended by the Secretary of State Assistant and for National Defense, Álvaro Castello-Branco, and the Chief of the Navy General Staff, Admiral Jorge Nobre de Sousa, among other entities.
