During the concert, which did not take place in 2024 due to the ongoing tour, Moonspell will mark the 30th anniversary of their album ‘Wolfheart’ by performing it in full.
After midnight, there will be a DJ set by Weirdboy, an aerial fire performance by Tatsh, and a “DJ Battle” between the vocalists of Moonspell and Dark Tranquility, Fernando Ribeiro and Mikael Stanne, respectively.
Moonspell celebrated their 30-year career in 2022 with an international tour that culminated in two performances at the coliseums of Porto and Lisbon.
“In 1992, Morbid God transformed into Moonspell. By 2022, they celebrate 30 years of a brilliant career: they are not only the ‘top of mind’ in national Heavy Metal but also the authors of the most famous chapters in the Portuguese section of the global Heavy Metal history,” stated a 2021 press release on the band’s 30th anniversary, highlighting the half a million albums sold by the band.
Since the 1990s, Moonspell has been a recurring presence at major international festivals of the genre and has headlined tours from Europe to the Americas.
