More than 18-hour wait for urgent patients at Loures hospital

The average waiting time for urgent patients exceeded 18 hours at 10:20 a.m. today at the Beatriz Ângelo Hospital in Loures, with a waiting list of almost 60 people, according to data from the SNS Portal.

The waiting time at Beatriz Ângelo Hospital was 18 hours and 33 minutes at 10:20 am, when the maximum recommended waiting time is 60 minutes.

According to the data, 59 patients were waiting with a yellow wristband (urgent) to be seen by the doctor.

The data presented on the National Health Service Portal refers to the average waiting time for care in the last two hours and the number of patients presented illustrates the people who are currently waiting for care, after triage.
