Various councils in the northern and central interior and the Algarve are still at very high risk of rural fires, while other regions of the continent are at high risk, according to the IPMA.
This risk, determined by the IPMA, has five levels, ranging from reduced to maximum. These calculations are based on air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and the amount of precipitation in the last 24 hours.
The IPMA forecasts for today on the continent a mostly clear or clear sky, with more cloudiness until mid-morning on the Centro coast, sometimes strong winds on the western coastal strip and highlands, a slight rise in maximum temperature in the interior, and a slight decrease in the eastern Algarve.
Minimum temperatures will range between 11 degrees Celsius (in Guarda) and 19 (in Faro), and maximums between 23 (in Aveiro) and 34 (in Évora).
In the coming days, according to the IPMA, maximum temperatures will experience slight rises and falls.
