As approved in the General Assembly on May 15, 2025, the dividend for the 2024 fiscal year, amounting to 0.1497 euros per share, will be payable starting June 12, 2025, according to a note sent by the construction company to the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM).
Mota-Engil added that starting June 10, the shares will be traded without the dividend rights on the stock exchange.
The payment of the dividends is “subject to IRS/IRC withholding.” Shareholders who benefit from any legal exemption from withholding must “provide proof to the registering entities or depositories of the shares before the dividend payment date.”
Mota-Engil reported attributable profits of 123 million euros last year, marking an 8% increase compared to 2023, according to a statement released by the company.
In the first quarter of this year, profits attributable to the Mota-Engil group reached 27 million euros, a year-on-year increase of 37%, the company noted.
As of 1:00 PM, Mota-Engil was the biggest loser among the 15 listed on the PSI, falling 7.60% to 4.35 euros.
