An accident occurred in the Poço Partido area, on the road connecting Carvoeiro to the city of Lagoa, as confirmed by a representative from the Algarve Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command.
The death was declared by a doctor from the Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) called to the scene, the representative added.
Additionally, 11 operational personnel from the National Republican Guard (GNR) and Lagoa firefighters were dispatched to the location.
