
On its website today, the Regional Public Prosecutor’s Office of Porto (PGRP) announced that two men are being charged with aggravated breach of trust and document forgery.
According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, one of the defendants, between January 2017 and June 2021, “misappropriated a total of 221,492.35 euros from the company he managed by inflating consultancy service billing and charging for personal travel expenses as if they were for company business.”
The second defendant “misappropriated 5,733 euros by billing the company for a personal trip in 2018.”
The Public Prosecutor’s Office has requested that the state be awarded the proceeds of the crime and is seeking the conviction of the defendants.
