
The fado singer Camané has been nominated with the album “Ao vivo no CCB — Homenagem a José Mário Branco” in the category of “Best Portuguese Language Roots Album,” while Janeiro is a candidate for the Latin Grammy for “Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese Language” with the record “Fugacidade.”
Camané was previously nominated for the Latin Grammy in 2020, alongside pianist Mário Laginha, with the album “Aqui está-se sossegado,” based on fado repertoire.
For musician Janeiro, this marks his debut in Latin Grammy nominations, arriving with his third solo original album.
The 26th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards is led by Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny, with 12 nominations for the album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS (DTMF).”
Bad Bunny will perform in Portugal on May 26 and 27, 2026, at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, as part of an international tour dedicated to the nominated album.
