he 44-year-old singer Nelly Furtado was this last Thursday, July 20, at the Arraial Triste show, which took place in Alcântara. The singer took the opportunity to attend a concert by fado singer Ana Moura – who also organized the event.

On social media, the artist of Portuguese descent shared some moments of the performance, namely the moment when the Portuguese singer danced with Pedro Mafama, her boyfriend.

And, of course, being in a city like Lisbon, Nelly Furtado adopted tourist mode. Although she didn’t reveal many details about the places she visited, she shared on her Instagram stories a photo in Terreiro do Paço – and also took a selfie with the artist Branko.

Nelly Furtado was one of the biggest musical artists in the early 2000s, releasing hits such as “Maneater”, “Promiscuous Girl” and “I’m Like a Bird”. In 2004 she was responsible for “Força”, the anthem of the European Football Championship (which Portugal tragically lost against Greece in the final).

The singer’s parents, born in Victoria, Canada, are from São Miguel, in the Azores, but emigrated to that country in the late 60s.
