A new collaborative festival in Portugal, described as the “first of its kind” in the country, is set to bring together 11 venues across seven cities for three days of inclusive, decentralized, and free programming, the organizers announced today.
The festival, CURVA, aims to enhance inclusivity in artistic projects and decentralize performances, marking a significant collaboration among several national venues to create a conscientiously curated program.

The realization of CURVA is supported by LiveMX, an initiative of Live DMA, the European network of live music associations, backed by the European Union to promote sustainability, inclusion, and diversity in live music across Europe.
The Circuito network, consisting of independent venues and clubs, was established in 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
