
Nine blank votes and 11 null votes were registered in the recent election.
For the Council of Jurisdiction, the oversight body, 597 voters participated. List A received 554 votes (92.7%), while List B secured 33 votes (5.5%). Additionally, there were six blank votes and four null votes.
A statement from Fenprof confirmed the election of the seven permanent members of List A.
Fenprof has announced the election of Francisco Gonçalves and José Feliciano da Costa from List A as the new general secretaries, succeeding Mário Nogueira, who led the largest teachers’ union for 18 years.
The election took place during the 15th National Teachers’ Congress, which concludes today in Lisbon.

The Action Program, presented by the National Secretariat and the seven Fenprof unions—titled “Value, Now! For a Profession with a Future and Quality Public Education!”—was unanimously approved this morning.
