North American Dream Theater to play in Lisbon in November

American band Dream Theater will return to Portugal on November 16 for a concert at the Meo Arena in Lisbon, as part of the group’s 40th anniversary tour, the promoter announced today.

“The tour – presented as ‘An Evening With Dream Theater’ – is the first since the return of drummer Mike Portnoy to the line-up, joining vocalist James LaBrie, bassist John Myung, guitarist John Petrucci, and keyboardist Jordan Rudess. The European tour will pass through 23 cities between October 20 and November 24, where the group will be performing the great classics and fan favorite songs,” reads the statement from promoter Everything is New.

The tour begins on October 20 in London, UK, and ends on November 24 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, passing through Germany, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Luxembourg, Switzerland, France, Spain and Portugal.

Tickets go on sale on Friday for between 42 and 80 euros.
