The “Para Sempre Marco” project is set to be presented on August 8, followed by a concert featuring singer Miguel Gameiro and the group Polo Norte on the next day, with Van Zee performing on August 10.
The program for the 40th Portuguese Wine Festival and the 30th National Rocha Pear Fair includes Carolina Deslandes performing on August 11, with Quim Barreiros taking the stage the following day.
In addition to the concerts, the event will feature several dozen exhibitors, some representing the wine sector, others the Rocha pear industry, and the rest showcasing a variety of activities.
The agenda also includes wine tastings, local food stalls, and ‘showcookings’ featuring local products from the municipality.
The Portuguese Wine Festival is the country’s oldest wine event, established in the 1960s under the name 1st Festival – Portuguese Wine Exhibition.
It occurred sporadically until 1993, when the 10th edition took place, after which it became an annual event, with a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
The National Rocha Pear Fair has been organized since 1996 to promote the sector and agricultural products of the region.
