In the specialty voting on the State Budget for 2026 (OE2026), a proposal by the PCP was approved, setting a deadline for payment for remunerated services to PSP and GNR professionals.
“The amount corresponding to the remunerated services provided by PSP and GNR professionals, as provided in Article 7 of Ordinance No. 298/2016, of November 29, must be paid by the respective institution within a maximum period of 60 days after the service is rendered,” the proposal states.
Another proposal from the communist bloc was also approved, aimed at promoting safety and health at work in the security forces and services. This proposal mandates the Government to approve the “legal framework for hygiene and safety at work for professionals of the security forces and services” and to move forward with the “revision of the suicide prevention plan in the security forces and services”.
However, deputies rejected a clause in this proposal that called for the hiring of 30 psychologists to support professionals in the security forces and services.
