The party’s governing body meeting is set for this evening at the PS headquarters in Lisbon, following discussions by the socialist leader with the parliamentary group regarding the budget proposal submitted last week by the Government to the Assembly of the Republic.
When the proposal was submitted, during the municipal election campaign, José Luís Carneiro had already signaled support for the OE2026, ensuring he would honor his commitment to the Portuguese people by “contributing to political stability.”
