In a statement, IP announced that due to the ongoing construction work for the new connection to the Mundão Business Park and the necessary activities planned between kilometers 95 and 96 of the former IP5, a traffic closure will be required in this area.
The traffic interruption will extend until August 2, in both directions, “to ensure safety conditions on this route,” it explained.
IP added that traffic detours will be properly marked and that National Roads 2, 16, and 229 should be used.
