Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny has embarked on a world tour for his album ‘DeBÍ TIRAR MáS FOTos’, extending until 2026, but has omitted the United States, attributing this decision to the anti-immigration policies enforced by President Donald Trump.
In an interview with the British magazine i-D, Bad Bunny was questioned about the absence of the United States from his tour list.
“There were many reasons why I didn’t appear in the United States, and none of them was out of hate – I’ve performed there many times,” he stated, emphasizing that “all the shows were successful” and that he enjoyed “connecting with Latin Americans living in the U.S.”
When asked why he chose not to perform in the U.S., Bad Bunny expressed concern that “the damn ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement)” could be “outside [the concert],” fearing that Puerto Ricans and other Latin Americans attending the event could face inspections and deportations.
“It was something we were discussing and very concerned about,” he added.
Notably, on July 4, Independence Day in the United States, the singer released a music video for the song ‘Nuevayol’, which criticizes Donald Trump’s anti-immigration policies.
The video features a voice reminiscent of the U.S. president apologizing to immigrants in America: “I want to say this country is nothing without immigrants. This country is nothing without Mexicans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Cubans.”

Since taking office in January this year, Donald Trump has initiated a plan to fulfill his election promise of orchestrating the largest mass deportation in history.
This has instilled fear “100%” across numerous immigrant communities nationwide.
