
A traffic accident occurred on a rural path near Herdade Vale da Rosa, located in the Ferreira do Alentejo area, Beja district.
The Baixo Alentejo Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command reported that the alert was issued at 8:28 PM. The death was declared on-site by Beja’s emergency medical and resuscitation vehicle (VMER) doctor.
Three individuals sustained serious injuries, while a firefighter performing extrication operations on the vehicle suffered minor injuries. All were transported to Beja Hospital.
The seriously injured include two men and one woman, aged between 20 and 50, according to a source from the GNR.
Deployed to the scene were 26 operatives from Ferreira do Alentejo and Beja firefighters, the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), and the GNR, supported by 12 vehicles, including the VMER and an Immediate Life Support (SIV) unit from Alcácer do Sal.
