A traffic accident on the A4 highway claimed the life of a 34-year-old man on Sunday afternoon near the Porto region, involving a car and a motorcycle. According to the local law enforcement authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 4:55 p.m. on the Amarante-Porto direction.
The highway was closed following the collision, with traffic being rerouted through the A11 via the Castelões junction. Authorities reported that the A4 was reopened at around 7:10 p.m., albeit with traffic confined to the left-hand lane.
