The alarm for the accident was raised at 9:17 PM, involving a collision between a heavy vehicle and a light vehicle, according to the Sub-regional Command of the Metropolitan Area of Porto.
The accident resulted in one fatality, who was in the light vehicle and was the sole victim.
The death was declared on the scene by the doctor from the Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) of Hospital Pedro Hispano, Matosinhos, the same source added.
Firefighters from Vila do Conde and the PSP were also dispatched to the scene.
