One of the oldest women in Barcelos has died. She was 103 years old.

One of Barcelos’ oldest residents passed away on Tuesday at the age of 103.

Marina Ferreira da Costa e Sá, a native of Tamel Santa Leocádia, was reported to have died, as noted by the local publication O Minho.

The centenarian’s body has been lying in state at the Parish Church of Tamel Santa Leocádia since 3:30 PM, as confirmed by the funeral home.

The funeral is scheduled for 5:00 PM, with burial to follow at the cemetery in that parish.
