A person was left homeless after a fire broke out in their residence on Wednesday in Alhandra, within the municipality of Vila Franca de Xira. The blaze has been extinguished.
The Alhandra Volunteer Firefighters described the incident as a “residential fire in a single-family home.”
It was reported that one individual was displaced and has since been rehoused by the municipal Civil Protection authorities.
The fire alert was received at 6:28 p.m.
On the scene were 10 firefighters supported by four vehicles, officers from the Alhandra Public Security Police (PSP), and the Civil Protection service of Vila Franca de Xira.
