A person was fatally shot in the early hours of Sunday in Póvoa de Varzim, as confirmed by police sources.
A firearm was used in the incident, and the case is now under investigation by the Judiciary Police (PJ).
The Porto Regional Civil Protection Command reported that the alert was received at 05:13 on Rua Dr. Artur Aires.
The death was pronounced at the scene where the Póvoa de Varzim Fire Department, Vila do Conde Immediate Life Support Ambulance (SIV), the Pedro Hispano Hospital’s Emergency and Resuscitation Unit (VMER), and the Public Security Police (PSP) were present.
No further information about the victim or circumstances of the crime has been confirmed.
